A fabulous Ikebana bronze vase, hand-crafted in Japan. Showa Period, Early 20th Century, possibly earlier.Â
The finish is Murashido, a centuries-old technique that consists in dipping the cast bronze in oil and smoke it with rice straw, which gives the vase that beautiful mottled patina. Dimensions: 4.6″ Diameter. x 9.5″ High.
Signed at the bottom.
