A ceramic shield-shaped architectural detail from Thailand, Late 18th Century.

Reclaimed from old constructions and preserved in time, these architectural details were and still are a decorative staple in many traditional Thai buildings, particularly temples and pagodas.

Crafted in the same tradition of the old kilns of Sukhothai, one of the main centers of Thai ceramics in ancient times.
