A hand-crafted miniature Buddhist temple in wood, polychromed in gold and red, with finely carved details.
Burma (Myanmar), early 20th Century.
The model consists of six detachable pieces, each one of solid and heavy wood, finely carved to reproduce details with great detail. The pieces stack precisely on top of each other to form the pagoda, with the traditional stupa finial on top.
The total weight of this model temple is around 25 lbs of solid wood.
