Wood Wagon Wheel on Stand, 19th Century

A wooden wagon wheel on stand. Indonesia, late 19th Century.

Reclaimed from an old vehicle, it has been preserved intact, with the exception of the outer rim.

The center is reinforced with wrought iron, in its original condition. Small wood losses are present due to age and use.

36 inches in diameter, 8 inches deep at the center. Resting freely on a bespoke metal stand measuring 11.75 x 8 inches.
