Wood Altar Tray, Late 19 C.

A small altar tray, hand-crafted in teak with mother-of-pearl inlays. China, late 19th Century.

Rustic teak in a dark brown/red semi-gloss finish. Four stretchers connect the turned legs. Delicate mother-of-pearl inlaid decorations throughout, with the center depicting an intricate and detailed pastoral scene. The table presents signs of age and use. No recent repairs or restorations are apparent. Its structural integrity is intact.

Dimensions: 13.5″ Wide x 7.5″ Deep x 4″ High. Base stretchers: 7″ x 12″.
