A hand-carved white marble bowl, with a leaf shape, resting on a square base. India, circa 1960.
The top part is designed to rest freely on the base and rotate or swivel as a lazy susan bowl.
One of the four top ends presents a repair, which does not affect stability or structural integrity.
A small loss on a corner in the base is also present.
