While the golden age of Thai ceramics ended around the 16th Century, local craftsmen kept preserving the technique and the art through generations. Today, Thailand’s artisans carry the tradition aided by more modern kilns and more diverse glazing techniques, while keeping the handcrafting tradition alive.

This vintage vase is beautifully finished in a semi-gloss pale green with celadon-style crackled glaze. It features an oval body, with a narrow top and small handles on the sides of the neck.
