Product Description
A Japanese hanging scroll or Kakejiku, circa 1890, depicting bamboo grass and a rabbit.
Hand-painted and mounted on delicate “washi” mulberry paper, with brocade silk top and bottom ribbons framing the painting.
A top bamboo bar for hanging, and a bone cylindrical bottom bar for stability complete the ensemble.
Preserved in good condition.
