White Marble Vessel, 28″

A large white marble vase, hand-carved in India, circa 1960. 28 inches tall, approximately 13 inches diameter.

Fluted neck. Clean, simple, elegant lines. The vase is composed of 3 separate parts: The round base, which can be used for wide floral arrangements,

the fluted neck which freely rests on the round the base, and a 3.5 inch high lid.

The round base has one visible loss at its border, and a superficial crack running through the veining along the wall.

These are probably due to age and use, and do not affect the stability or integrity of the vase.
