An Ikebana brass vase, hand-crafted in Japan, Showa Period. Oval shape.
The finish is Murashido, a centuries-old technique that consists in quenching the cast brass in hot oil and smoke it with rice straw, which gives the vase that beautiful mottled patina. Signed at the bottom. Dimensions: 3″ Diameter x 8″ High.
