Product Description
A fabulous Ikebana brass vase, hand-crafted in Japan, Showa Period.
The finish is Murashido, a centuries-old technique which consists in dipping the cast brass in hot oil.
It is subsequently smoked with rice straw, which gives the metal its beautiful mottled patina.
Signed at the bottom.
Dimensions: 3″ Diameter. x 9″ High.
