An elegant brass vase, hand-crafted in China, Early 20th Century.

Finished in dark brown with a mottled patina, probably achieved through a technique like Murashido.

The body is delicately carved with traditional designs.Square top, round bottom, sitting on a round base.

Both sides have handles shaped in the form of a stylized elephant head.

In the Chinese tradition, the elephant symbolizes harmony, strength, wisdom and good fortune.

Inscribed at the bottom.

Dimensions: 9″ high x 5″ Diameter.
