A celadon plate from the kilns of Sawankhalok, also known as Si Satchanalai, one of the main centers of Thai ceramics during the Sukhotai and Ayutthaya periods (1238-1767).

Well preserved for its age, this plate shows the ancient technique of Celadon glaze, with its traditional olive green color and the crackled finish throughout the glaze. Circa 15th -16th Century.
